I love the energy, depth, meaning and emotion of Frantziska’s work. It is always so vibrant, surprising and thought-provoking. I could spend a lot of time exploring the details and being lost in her creative worlds. They are beautiful, painful, enriching, powerful and fun all at once.

Frantziska’s art is very unique because she tells stories through her paintings. Through vivid colours and mystical beings you feel joy, suffering, despair and enlightenment all at once! I can sit and look at her work for hours as it will spark my own creativity, igniting my deepest, dormant imagination.

Frantziska’s work is a uniquely passionate and colourful expression of moving soul, delving, revealing and harmonising the deep unconscious. Her style moves between expressions, naive, symbolic and modern art, painted in a flow, fluctuating between the figurative and the abstract.She works with acrylic paint, layering up and often on big canvases, to have her whole body involved in the act of painting (or the act of her craft). Her love for beauty and harmony drives her to depict the finished creation, even if the subject matter and content are of the most difficult emotions or life situations in a dance of colours and aesthetic beauty. 

I have known Frantziska nearly 30 years, during which I’ve followed her multi-disciplinary creative output with interest. She brings a deeply layered psychology to her work which makes it fresh and raw. Therefore, it may not always be palatable and easy to read at first glance (or on first hearing). It appears to come from the depth of her psyche, an expression of her inner being. She allows the audience to see / hear more than most other people would; more of the process revealed-a kind of ‘warts and all’ unapologetic therapeutic output. Some art is meant to be challenging, not all art is for the comfort of our living rooms!

Frantziska’s compositions with her 1000 talents are very very special. Either in painting, poetry, singing or video art. Her colourful compositions in the paintings and her video work is extraordinary and uplifting and her clear singing voice is enchanting. In my opinion Frantziska is a versatile artist who deserves to be famous and whose art needs to be known around the world due their originality and uniqueness.

I met Francisca in 2014 in a venue in Brighton, UK. She was doing music and performance work. So was I, and then I started to go to a poetry group again in Brighton, and our paths crossed again. Much to my amazement, I then discovered that she paints incredible paintings. I also paint pictures. Francisca's work is vibrant and visceral. It has a mythical and magical feel and reflects a narrative expressed deeply from inner life. Her video and dance work is hypnotic and otherworldly. Francisca is an incredible creative force who continues to make new steps in all fields of her making.
